Yep, today's my birthday, and I'm eighteen. Holy crap, when did that even happen?
(Or rather, yesterday. Timezone says it's the 19th now. Technicalities. The day doesn't end until I sleep. XD)

I've come a long way in life... boy, what a journey so far. I'll be going off to college this fall and spending the next few years of life getting edumacated along with ~Aegypiinae and a few others in my RL friend crew (yes, Aegy, I am committing there soon XD). And I kinda feel all kinds of fancy at the thought of going off on my own soon. Especially for me, it's seriously empowering. Here I am, that gullible chick with an eating issue, headed off to be with people whose company I'll no doubt enjoy, with the added bonus of cooking for myself and taking zero crap from people about my lack of dietary sophistication. @.@ You people who eat everything don't know how awesome it feels not to be pressured about food, I kid you not.

God knows where I'd be without the people in my life.

It seems like only yesterday when a 12-year-old me got a note from ~StangWolf inviting me to join a good ol' Pern RP called Crescent Weyr. You've made an RP monster out of me, Stang XD I credit all these sites with helping me grow as a writer, and all my buddies, I hope you know how much you mean to me. Through good times and bad, I've stuck through Crescent, Aerten, Baikal, Reoda, and old Sekkai, and now I'm celebrating my 18th year of life not just with my RL buddies, but with some lasting friends on new Sekkai :3 It would take a lot to wrench me off that site, I tell ya. Just know that you mean a lot to me too, online friends!

Hopefully that also means more art for all of you who've ever bothered to check out my humble little slice of dA >_> There are certainly stories and visual works in progress that I'm trying to find time for, but school and celebrations are my priorities. Although now that I'm about to commit to a college, looks like there will be at least a little more time for stuff.
